The Fifth Ingredient
For Success is
Mindset.
A Mental Attitude that determines a Response to a
Situation.
All of us have a mindset concerning how we respond
to certain situations. But now we are talking
about succeeding in our home business.
Most of us have
a mindset that when something
comes along that doesn't work the way we intended,
we discard it and go on to something else. What
happens when we do this is we are continuous
changing. We never give anything a chance to work.
Some times we just need to change a small part in
the program that didn't work and try again. This is
believing in yourself and your ability to do something
right.
We all are familiar with the stories about people
that kept going to live their dream in spite of
obstacles . That is mindset.
Every year we see people running marathons with
what we would call physical disabilities or handicap.
They call it a blessing and an opportunity.
We can let little things stop us from living our dream
or we can turn what seems a disaster into a possibility.
It all is determined by our mental attitude or mindset.
I remember seeing a young man without any arms
playing a guitar using his toes. I have also seen a
young man with one finger missing complain because
he could no longer play his guitar.
What is your mindset. Do you have the attitude that
you can succeed no matter what happens or are
ready to quit because you missed a sale.
Another clich�"Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win." This is my mindset, "never
quit as a loser, if I must quit it will be while
I am winning."
We were all born with a
mindset. When we were
hungry we would start what we knew to get attention.
If at first it didn't work, we didn't throw it away and
try something else. We just changed the volume and
tried again.
If you have lost that mindset, you can find it because
it lies somewhere inside of you. Just start digging you
will find it.
